Why #PrinceOfImpunity is Trending

On 24th/1/2015, two MPs, Alfred Keter and Sunjeev Birdi, stormed Gilgil weigh-bridge and caused all manner of commotion abusing and assaulting the officers who work there. (Click here to read the whole story and watch the video posted blogger Robert Alai).

So, NTVs Larry Madowo invited the two 'honorable' Mps to discuss the previous night's issue under the hashtag #PrinceOfImpunity and from the #KOT tweets, Kenyans were angered by the action of the two.

These are some of the hilarious and serious tweets about impunity shown by these two MPs and some of 'our leaders.'

It is total abuse of power by the two MPS

Are they lying with straight faces? This is so sad.

What is this nonsense about people behind people? First it was Lang'ata playground and now this truck!

The most interesting intervie.. Larry Madowo takes on AlfredKeter "We make laws. We can break them when we want"

Im especially outraged where keter twists the statement that mps can make and break laws at any time.

Keter:Kenyans would die if i resign. Were kenyans born wen the smilingIdiot got to parliament?

Question : what does Kanyari , Keter, Sonia and Singh have in common?

i dont fight small wars, i fuck innocent stupid people

It was a story of private transporter... so jst met the wrath of MRS SINGH. Larry asking abt the Lorry.

is singing to the choir; and he is off key

Hahaha ati huyu Mhindi wa keter ametumwa na akina singh aconfuse wakenya about Langata primary

Kenyans are tired of the so called "people" behind the "people". C'mon!!! These corrupt leaders must be held accountable!!

when we said was pocketed by railway cartels, some of u castigating him today told us he is an mp with an independent mind.

Ladies and gentlemen, those are the kind of people you elected to parliament and who should we blame? Just watch this Keter video here and you can judge
