We exclusively reported here that Citizen TV's Swaleh Mdoe plus another host of TV anchors and reporters were suspended last week after it was alleged that Nairobi senator Sonko bribed them to kill a damning story they were about to report. We have now confirmed that Swaleh might be headed to a rival station pegging his huge following and his big name.

After top Citizen TV personalities were suspended over allegedly burying a story to protect a politician, some of them are looking for alternative work places before the hammer comes down on them.
One of the personalities who is famed for his oratory gift was spotted early this week at one of Citizen's rival stations. Our sources claim that he was meeting with a top news producer.
"The TV guys might just take him up after all he has a huge following and name recognition," our source said. "It can help in boosting ratings for the news segment and get more eyeballs for the TV station."
Anyhow, in other news, the said politician is rumoured to have a list of all the members of fourth estate he has "Mpesad" money to in a bid to get favourable coverage. This list will lead to more suspensions in Citizen, if he makes it public.
